Beauty Challenge: Purple Lipgloss

Yesterday I was at the drugstore checking out Revlon's lipsticks because Amarixe on Youtube has been raving about them. Allison is wonderful, and I always trust her opinion. Her videos are amazing, and she's one of the best gurus on Youtube. (www.youtube.com/amarixe) and (www.amarixe.com).

Anyways, so I saw Revlon's Lilac Pastelle lipgloss, and thought, "This would be perfect to do as a beauty challenge!" It's cheap, so if I hate it, I won't be stressing over how much money I wasted on it. Then I went home and tried it on.

This lipgloss is a pale lilac pastel colour, and is pigmented enough to really show that you're wearing a purple lipgloss. It was a tad sticky, and the application was very uneven. I really had to spend quite a bit of time making sure it was even and opaque on my lips.

 

Overall, the colour washed me out and didn't look very good at all. If you want to try out purple lipgloss, I recommend you test out a drugstore version first to make sure you like it.
